This PLB is authorised for use as safety equipment at sea in Denmark.
Before the unit is used at sea in Denmark, the PLB must be programmed with an MMSI number.

On the Danish Maritime Authority (Søfartsstyrelsen) website you can apply for a radiostation license (Kaldesignalbevis), and the MMSI number is part of the license.
